On the Saturday morning, you will learn which soft fibres can be harvested locally as well as exploring the techniques of making cordage, braiding/plaiting, coiling and weaving.
The Sunday session will be focused on making a small basket using one of the traditional basketry techniques learned from the previous session.
The focus of these two sessions is to 'play' with a variety of soft fibres which have been gathered locally between Spring and Summer to make a small soft fibre basket.
