What is ShakesBEERience?

Shakespeare brought to life in the pub. With a script in one hand and a pint in the other, actors perform some of the greatest stories ever told for you to enjoy with food and drinks.

Unlike reverent and carefully stylised theatrical productions, these ‘script in hand’ performances give Shakespeare’s words and characters a fresh energy. The relaxed atmosphere of the pub makes for a fun, immersive, and perhaps slightly raucous experience.

We can’t wait to welcome The Bridge Ensemble back to Llangoed Village Hall! Shakespeare brought to life with a script in one hand and a drink in the other.
